Garden Arts & Plant Sale

The Garden Arts & Plant Sale is an annual fundraiser for Parent to Parent of SW MI that takes place in late May. At the sale you will find discounted and wholesale annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees and more! An array of handcrafted art perfect for your home and garden is also be available for sale at the annual sale.

Rain, wind, clouds, cooler temperatures…what else can we say except it certainly wasn’t the best weather circumstances that we are always in hopes of for our  annual Grass Roots Garden Arts and Plant Sale.  The weather may have kept some people away first thing in the morning because we didn’t have the usual long line of people waiting to get into the sale. However once we opened the sale it was a continuous flow of people coming in and out of the plant sale all day long.  With your help, it turned out to be a successful day and we nearly matched our profit from the prior year!

We can’t thank you enough for your support of our annual fundraiser.  The money generated from this event helps with a substantial portion of our budget and enables us to continue the many programs we provide to help families raise their special needs children.  From autism, to Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, visually or hearing impaired, plus so many more disabling conditions, the challenges faced by these children and their families are many and diverse. 

Through your charitable dedication we continue to maintain our parent mentoring program to those families just receiving a diagnosis on their child and continue to provide support and information to families further on their journey.  We are in the process of planning next year’s workshops right now which the revenue from this fundraiser helps support.
